In late August, our practice took part in the 119th Annual Congress of the Swiss Ophthalmological Society. A key event for ophthalmology in Switzerland, it was held from 26 to 28 August 2026 at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne.
Dr David Tabibian spoke on Thursday, 27 August. In front of medical assistants attending their continuing education day, he walked through particularly challenging biometry cases. Irregular corneas, weak signals, measurement errors: situations every practitioner faces at some point, which he managed to explain with clarity.
The following day, it was Professor Heimo Steffen‘s turn. As part of the Swiss Orthoptics Conference, he presented the different therapeutic options for nystagmus.
Two talks, one shared thread: our commitment to continuing education and to care that keeps pace with the latest advances in ophthalmology.
